Many people in the book are just like people that were actually in Salingers life. There were many quotes throughout the book that proved that certain things were actually autobiographical. There have been many sourses also in which show that many things that Holden does, Salinger did also. Salingers character Holden is very autobiographical because they had problems with there family, education, and were both pretty secluded and unsure in the world.
